Green Edna (Salix purpurea 'Green Edna') - Slender flexible rods. Yellow-green to red-brown in the field, dries pale green to blonde. Perfect for basketry, craft and structural use.
Americana (Salix x 'Americana') - Long straight (up to 10' long) rods. Yellow-green to golden red-brown in the field, they dry to a beautiful dark green with some reddish-brown. Great for basketry, craft and structural use.
Dave's Green (Salix var 'Dave's Green') - Nice straight tall rods that can easily grow more than 10' long. Bark can be harvested and dries a almost black. Great for living and dried structural work, coppice crafts and furniture.
Rubykins (Salix koriyanagi 'Rubykins') - Long slender rods up to 10'. Beautiful reddish to pink tips on new growth in the field, drys light orange. Fantastic for living projects and craft. Can be used in basketry with extra care.
Dasyclados (Salix dasyclados) - Large sturdy rods that can grown 10'+. Bark can be harvested. Yellow-green in the field, drys brown. Great for living structures, larger baskets (rings and handles), coppice crafts (hurdles, fence and furniture).

Live Whips (for living fences, domes, trellis and other structures) - $1/foot, our whips come in lengths from 4'-12' (minimum order 50 whips)
Please contact us for living whip orders. They will be available for pre-order between Oct 1st and Dec 1st, 2025. There is a limited amount, so don't hold off. All pre-orders will be available for pick up at the farm in spring 2026.
